Lakeshore Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory
 

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-0 loss to Lakeshore on Friday.  Lakeshore scored on a single by Dominion, a single by Dendooven, an error, and a double by Chellman in the first inning.

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Lakeshore, giving up 15 runs.

Lakeshore got things started in the first inning.  Lakeshore scored one run when Dominion singled.

A single by Natalie O’Riley in the fourth inning was a positive for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans .

Chellman took the win for Lakeshore. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out eight.

Paige VanStee took the loss for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans . The righthander lasted four innings, allowing 15 hits and 15 runs while striking out three.

O’Riley went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  in hits.

Lakeshore collected 15 hits.  Chellman, Dendooven, Prosser, and Dominion all had multiple hits for Lakeshore.  Chellman led Lakeshore with four hits in four at bats.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-0 loss to Lakeshore on Friday.  Lakeshore scored on a double by Dominion and a wild pitch during Prosser's at bat in the first inning.

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Lakeshore, giving up 12 runs.

In the first inning, Lakeshore got their offense started when Dominion doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

One bright spot for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans  was a single by Natalie O’Riley in the second inning.

#8 earned the victory in the circle for Lakeshore. The pitcher allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Shelby Robinett took the loss for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans . The righthander surrendered 12 runs on 13 hits over five innings, striking out two.

Ebbie Appel, Elaina O’Riley, O’Riley, and Kate Caldwell each collected one hit to lead Thornapple Kellogg Trojans .

Lakeshore saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game.  Grau, Stankiewicz, Chellman, and Dominion all collected multiple hits for Lakeshore.  Grau led Lakeshore with three hits in three at bats.
