Thornapple Kellogg's Two Pitchers Combine In No-Hitter to Gain Victory Over Hastings
 

Thornapple Kellogg's two pitchers didn't allow a single hit, as the Trojans  defeated Hastings 20-0 on Saturday. Peyton Stahl struck out M Deal to get the last out of the game.

TK opened up scoring in the first inning, when Elaina O’Riley singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Thornapple Kellogg put up nine runs in the fourth inning.  The Trojans big bats were led by Sophie Haveman, Grace Zube, Ellie Rogers, Maleah Bailey, Kate Caldwell, and  Rachel Shoemaker, all driving in runs in the inning.

Bailey led Thornapple Kellogg to victory in the pitcher's circle. The pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking zero.  Stahl threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

C Easey took the loss for Hastings. The pitcher surrendered 20 runs on 17 hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one.

Thornapple Kellogg collected 17 hits on the day.  Bailey, Zube, Natalie O’Riley, Paige VanStee, and O’Riley each racked up multiple hits for the Trojans.  Zube and Bailey each collected three hits to lead TK.
