Girls Varsity Track win the Allegan Invitational

Thornapple Kellogg Girls track team won the Allegan Invitational on Friday with a score of 132 points. The next closest team was Otsego wtih 83 points. 2 athletes competed in each event, 8 places scored. The girls scored two places in the top 8 scoring positions in 7 of the 17 Track and Field events. Those events included 100 (Dykhouse, Holland both with PR's on the day), 1600 (Crews, McCrumb (PR)), 3200 (Crews, Hagemann (PR)), 100H (B Harmon, DeBoer), 300H (B Harmon, Hilton), Pole Vault (Myers, Hilton), and Long Jump (E Harmon, Dykhouse).
These girls are all in and definitely had skin in the game as some of them left a bit of skin on the track.
