TK Varsity Girls Track team won the Wayland invite with 851.5 points over 7 other teams. Jenison took second with 764.5. 14 girls had PR's for the night. Brooklyn Harmon won the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, took 4th in the long jump, and was part of the 4x400 team (Joselyn DeBoer, Payton Gater, Lindsey Velting) that took 1st. Preslee Hall won the disc by throwing a PR of 99' 5" (all four of her throws were in the 90's). Liz Gaunt took 3rd in shot throwing a PR of 30'6.5". Eva Corson took 2nd in high jump and 8th in the 200. Lindsey Velting took 2nd in the 100 and 4th in the 400. Ava Crews took 2nd in the 800 and 3200 and 3rd in the 1600.
The girls had 14 PR's between them. They all celebrated each other's achievements and supported each other.
