The TK Varsity Volleyball team rebounded well on Saturday, after their loss to East Grand Rapids on Thursday, to take second place at the Wayland Volleyball Tournament.  We played together, positive, and intense the entire day.  We had ups and downs, but the girls kept battling and playing through them.  We were able to battle back from large deficits and come out on top.  The girls gained a lot of confidence, stayed positive, and believed in their ability to play volleyball.  It was so much fun to witness.  The ladies went 4-2 on the day, losing only to Wayland in pool play and again in the finals, 19-25, 22-25.  Ellie Shoobridge led the day with 35 kills and 14 aces.  Chloe Teachout had 26 kills and 5 aces.  Claudia Wilkinson had 21 kills and 6 aces.  Tyah Jefferson added 16 kills.  Claudia Lems had 58 assists and 10 aces.  Adrienne Duits added 40 assists and 5 aces.

The ladies will face Grand Rapids Christian at home on Tuesday.
