Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans watched game one last Thursday slip away early and couldn't recover in a 16-1 loss to Forest Hills Eastern Hawks Varsity on Thursday.  The Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Forest Hills Eastern Hawks Varsity, giving up 16 runs. Logan Snelling took the loss for Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans. Snelling went three and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits and striking out two. Jonah Summerhays led Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans with two hits in two at bats.

Game 2 against Forest Hills Eastern Hawks Varsity was a heartbreaker for Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans, as they lost the lead late in a 15-1 defeat.  The game was tied through the fourth inning at 1. Carsen Burbridge toed the rubber for Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans. Burbridge went five and two-thirds innings, allowing ten runs on 13 hits and striking out two.  Ethan Bonnema threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Tyler Gavette went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans in hits.
