The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans struggled to get their offense going on Thursday, losing to South Christian, 15-2.
South Christian scored nine runs in the fourth inning. Fennema led the South Christian to victory on the hill. The righty surrendered two runs on three hits over four innings, striking out nine. Grinstern threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Drake Snyder took the loss for the Trojans. The righty lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out two and walking zero.
Logan Snelling, Tyler Gavette, and Jonah Summerhays each collected one hit to lead Thornapple Kellogg Varsity Trojans. South Christian tallied 14 hits in the game.
