The Lady Trojans defeated Kenowa Hills at home last Thursday in a 3 sets to 2 nail biter.  The girls started off the night a little slow dropping the first 2 sets 15-25 and 18-25.  But the Trojans showed a lot of perseverance throughout the next 3 sets to win the match 25-22, 25-21, and 19-17.  Ellie Shoobridge led the trojans with 16 kills and Tyah Jefferson added 11.  Claudia Lems had 25 assists with Adrienne Duits putting up 18.  The Lady Trojans went on to face Cedar Springs Tuesday night.

TK volleyball defeated Cedar Springs on Tuesday in another nail biter 3 sets to 2.  The Trojans came out of the gate firing against Cedar Springs on Tuesday, taking an 8-0 lead before Cedar called their first time out.  The ladies had some trouble holding onto that lead and let Cedar back in, but finished by taking the first set 25-23.  Cedar came roaring back using the momentum they gained in the first set to take the second set 11-25.  The Trojans would go on to drop the third set 27-29.  The ladies were not going home without putting up a fight! They went on to take the fourth set from Cedar 25-23 and forced a fifth set.  The Trojans had gotten it together in the fifth set and finished the match 15-8.  Ellie Shoobridge led with a team high 18 kills and Chloe Teachout added 8 kills.  Claudia Lems had 21 assists.

The Lady Trojans have started their conference play 2-0, they play at GR Catholic Central tonight.
