SOUTH CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 3
The volleyball team dropped 3 sets to South Christian last night 21-25, 7-25, 25-17. We really struggled hanging onto the ball. We gave South Christian an 11 point lead in game 1, we were down 21-10 when we began our comeback, but we just couldn't hang on. We just gave them too big of a lead. Nothing was going our way in game 2, at the end of it we just tried to move on to the next game. We started the game off strong, but we couldn't hold it. We are battling illness and injury and we just couldn't find our groove last night. We are a great volleyball team, we can bring it together. Chloe Teachout led with 7 kills and Claudia Lems had 8 assists.
The girls play at Forest Hills Eastern on Tuesday.
