EAST GRAND RAPIDS HIGH SCHOOL: 3
TK Varsity girls lost in 3 straight sets to East Grand Rapids in their conference opener Tuesday night, 16-25, 19-25, 23-25. We had a slow start, but got progressively better and more comfortable each game. We need to be able to come out of the gate quickly and not give our opponents serving runs at the beginning of the game. We put ourselves into a hole that we then have to spend the rest of the game getting out of. We can be better! Claudia Wilkinson led the team with 8 kills and Claudia Lems had 3 aces and 16 assists.
TK will face Grand Rapids Christian on Thursday.
