Congratulations to Abby Marcukaitis from Thornapple Kellogg High School and to Hannah Johnson from Hastings High School for representing the Delton Kellogg/Thornapple Kellogg/Hastings High Schools' Girls' Swimming and Diving Team this past weekend at the Michigan High School Division I Swimming and Diving Championship Meet.
Abby finished seventh in the state in the 100 yard Backstroke event, setting a new Team record and receiving All-State honors in the process. She also finished 25th out of 49 swimmers in the 50 yard Freestyle event.
Hannah finished 23rd out of the 36 divers who qualified for the State Meet.
The DK/TK/Hastings Team finished the season with eight wns and three losses, first place in two invitationals, and 24th out of the 37 teams that scored in the State Meet.
