Kylee Throws Shutout as Thornapple Kellogg Trojans Defeats South Christian
 

Kylee Hoebeke didn't allow a single run as Thornapple Kellogg Trojans defeated South Christian 2-0 on Thursday. Hoebeke allowed just three hits.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Hoebeke struck out eight, while A Raiedon sat down seven.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans got things started in the first inning.  Hoebeke drove in one when Hoebeke singled.

A single by G Chrisman in the third inning was a positive for South Christian.

Hoebeke led things off in the pitcher's circle for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans. The righthander surrendered zero runs on three hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Raiedon toed the rubber for South Christian. The bulldog lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out seven.

Ella Palazzolo went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Thornapple Kellogg Trojans in hits.

D Langdon led South Christian with two hits in three at bats

 

Game 2: SC 21 - TK 8

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans Smack seven Hits, Lose to South Christian

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans's bats were strong against South Christian on Thursday, but it wasn't enough as Thornapple Kellogg Trojans fell 21-8.

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans struggled to contain the high-powered offense of South Christian, giving up 21 runs.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans took an early lead in the first inning when Ella Palazzolo singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

South Christian took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning.  In the second J Kuipers singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans tallied three runs in the fifth inning.  Kylee Hoebeke, Palazzolo, and Shelby Robinett each had RBIs in the big inning.

South Christian scored eight runs in the fourth inning.  The big inning for South Christian came thanks to doubles by M DeVries and K Demann, a single by A Sherwood, and an error on a ball put in play by D Langdon.

A Raredon got the start for South Christian. Raredon went five innings, allowing eight runs on seven hits and striking out six.

Peyton Stahl toed the rubber for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans. The righty lasted three and a third innings, allowing ten hits and 11 runs while striking out two.  Robinett threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans hit two home run on the day. Hoebeke had a long ball in the third and fifth innings.

Thornapple Kellogg Trojans tallied seven hits in the game.  Hoebeke and Palazzolo all managed multiple hits for Thornapple Kellogg Trojans.  Hoebeke went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Thornapple Kellogg Trojans in hits.

South Christian scattered 18 hits in the game.  Sherwood, Demann, DeVries, and G Chrisman all collected multiple hits for South Christian.  Sherwood led South Christian with five hits in five at bats.  Langdon led South Christian with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
