Thornapple Kellogg boys bowled in the Division 2 Regional Individual Event today. Each boy had to bowl 6 games and only the top 10 boys with the highest pin count, out of 112 bowlers, advance to the State Finals. Michael Willshire was the tournament champion for Division 2 Region 8, he bowled a 248, 201, 289, 206, 180 and 210 for a total pin count of 1334. Trevor VanPolen placed 7th, he bowled a 200, 172, 160, 213, 194 and 193 for a total pin count of 1132, they both advanced to the State Finals which will be held in Waterford at Century Lanes. Wyatt Jacobson placed 33rd with a total pin count of 1012, Colton Hicswa placed 49th with a total pin count of 977, Connor Wilson placed 54th with a total pin count of 969, Nate Palmer finished 57th with a total pin count of 955.
